My name is Mallory and I am an emerging artist in Boise, ID ​easily inspired by the color, depth, and dimension of nature ​and the movement of adventure. Much of my work is created ​in plein air while hiking, skiing, and backpacking.

I’ve always been a creator, but it wasn’t until knee surgery in ​2022 that I truly stepped into my identity as an artist. While ​recovery limited me from accessing the mountains, it also ​empowered me to witness the healing power of art. I used to ​think I didn’t have a “style” because my work is so diverse, but ​I’ve learned that diversity, experimentation, and the ​vulnerability to explore new mediums is a style within itself. I ​use paper, plaster, paint, block prints, digital design, and ​recycled ski gear to tell my story.

As a full time speech-language pathologist, I believe art is ​the most authentic form of communication. In the absence of ​words, art continues to inspire, communicate, and build ​community. Art is healing. Art is language. My art tells the ​story of travel, adventure, joy, pain and my unique perspective ​of the world.
